KITE LEADING EDGE AND STRUTS DACRON

Fixing of tears with patch of Dacron material, for intrados and extrados, sewed.
For any major repair or fixing we are using sewing machine rather than glue or stcking patches which cannot sustain stress and effort for a long period
Leading edge or strut are re-enforced with dacron patch inside
After fixing bladder are inflated to check and confirm that the shape of the leading edge (or strut) is the same than before.

Fixing of tears on spi material canopy, sewed for repairs beyond 10cm long
Sometimes when the kite fall in the water or on the ground, the kite canopy can get parted in 2 pieces
We are stocked with all available colors so the esthetic of your kite will be preserved!
The tear could start from the leading edge until the trailing edge. If that happened do not worry! Most of the time your kite will be repairable
This fixing will not affect the shape and performance of your kite. After fixing you will be able to enjoy your kite like before and will not feel any difference while kiting!

We do fix leaking kite and are stocked with self sticking valves and connectors for one-pump system. We can also order and replace bladders.
FKS will fix identified leaks, inflate kite and keep it in pressure for at least one hour. Pictures will be provided to attest that the repair made is holding pressure.
Fixing or replacing a bladder which has been damaged should not expose your kite to additional leaks.
For old kites and/or kites which have been exposed to heat it could requires numerous fixing with eventually the replacement of the leading edge and all bladders.
Our experience shows that when one valve starts leaking on old kites, all of them are about to fail.
This can be very frustrating and expensive! Therefore for old kite it will be worth considering replacement rather than going the path of fixing leaks.

Scratch on on a rock, or damage during a travel, using fiber glass and resin, your board will have a second life after its repairing.

We do fix twin tip as long as surfs and other directional boards, with EPOXY or POLYESTER depending of the construction of the board.
